COMMITTMENT TO EXCELLENCE

 

MorgenSolen Shepherds are bred to be Loyal and Gentle Family Companions as well as Tremendous Working Dogs.  We believe that these behaviors are not mutually exclusive and our commitment is to breed Quality German Shepherds with stable temperaments and strong working drives, so as to make each dog suitable for a variety of specialized working fields including, but not limited to, Family Companions, Police K-9 Patrol, Search and Rescue Dogs, Schutzhund, Personal Protection, Obedience, Show, Agility, Tracking and more.  In other words, we are committed to breeding puppies that are capable of working.
 
MorgenSolen is committed to maintaining the highest possible standards in meeting our goals.  No one is perfect, but we try to be and we will be honest about all litters we produce!!
 
MorgenSolen puppies come from parents that have been Health-Tested, and who have Working-Titled, Working Law Enforcement or Civilian Search and Rescue  Backgrounds, or Obedience Titled Parents.
 
MorgenSolen's breeding dogs are, at a minimum, x-rayed for both hip and elbow problems.  Not only are our dogs health-tested, they also are character-tested.   The traits we look for in our dogs are strong drives, both prey and fight, coupled with strong nerves and high levels of hardness and resiliency.  We are not interested in dogs with little nerve strength or with high defense drives.  We want strong, stable dogs that are courageous and bold, and driven to do their work.

                                                           

 
MorgenSolen will have puppies and adult dogs available from our breeding dogs from time to time and these will be available to working homes. They also come with specific health guarantees as well as training support and information on nutrition and upbringing.
