Bergen city centre is about 10 minutes by car. By bus it is about 16 minutes to Bergen Busstasjon on the 14, or about 23 minutes to Festplassen on the 15, which is handier for the KODE museums and the main shopping streets. Bergen Airport is a 12 minute drive.

The Kiwi at Øvre Kråkenes 51 is the closest, less than five minutes on foot down our own street, open 07:00 to 23:00 Monday to Saturday. The Extra at number 115 is about a ten minute walk and has a post counter inside. Both are closed on Sundays, so it is worth stocking up on Saturday if you arrive for the weekend.

You don't even need to leave the property! Our backyard sits at the foot of Mount Løvstakken. The forest begins right behind the house, giving you immediate access to one of Bergen's most popular mountain hikes.
